Terms of Service

Welcome to Colecta AI Pvt Ltd ("Colecta", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your use of the Colecta platform — our website, apps, and AI-based tools (the "Platform"). By accessing or using Colecta, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Colecta is a read-only assistant that helps a creator understand their own Instagram performance. We read your Instagram insights to answer questions and generate briefings. We never post, message, follow, or change anything on your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law. By using Colecta you represent that:

• All registration information is truthful and accurate,
• You will keep that information accurate, and
• Your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

• You create an account to access Platform features.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or policy violation.

To use the core features you connect a public, Professional (Creator or Business) Instagram account via Instagram Login. We store your account's metrics so we can analyse them over time. You may disconnect at any time; your stored history remains readable and you can request deletion. See our Privacy Policy for details.

• Every account gets a 14-day free window that begins when you connect Instagram. No card is required to start.
• After the free window, continued daily sync and weekly briefings require a paid subscription (billed monthly or yearly).
• In India, payments are collected via Razorpay with UPI Autopay as the default method; taxes (GST) are included in the displayed price.
• International (card) billing is being rolled out; availability is shown at checkout.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation stops future charges. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You agree to use Colecta only for lawful purposes and not to:

• Reverse-engineer, hack, or manipulate our systems or AI,
• Access an account you are not authorized to use, or
• Use the Platform in a way that infringes the rights of others.

All rights to the Platform — including AI models, interfaces, and branding — are owned by Colecta AI Pvt Ltd.

You retain ownership of your content and data. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, and analyse it solely to provide and improve the service.

Our AI tools are provided "as-is". While we work for accuracy grounded in your real data:

• AI-generated insights are not professional advice.
• The AI analyses captions, metrics, and watch behaviour — it does not analyse video footage and will not make claims about what it cannot see.
• You are responsible for reviewing outputs before acting on them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colecta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service; and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding six months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.
