Delete your account & data

If you can sign in, you can delete your account and all associated data yourself, immediately:

• Open Colecta (web at app.colecta.ai, or the mobile app) and sign in.
• Go to Settings → Data & privacy.
• Tap Delete account and confirm.

This is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you can no longer sign in, email contact@colecta.ai from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll verify it's you and delete your data within 30 days (usually much sooner).

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile and login credentials.
• Your connected Instagram data — posts, metrics, audience insights, and stored daily history.
• Your first read and every weekly read.
• All conversations and everything Colecta remembered (memory + custom instructions).
• Notification preferences and registered devices.
• Your Instagram access token (already stored encrypted; dropped entirely on deletion).

We keep only what the law requires: a limited record of past transactions/invoices for tax and accounting purposes, retained for the legally mandated period and then deleted. Anonymized, aggregate analytics that cannot be tied back to you may be retained. Nothing retained can be used to identify you or re-create your account.
